She became violent after the flight attendant spilled a beverage and attempted to clean it up.
According to WXYZ-TV, the flight attendant and other passengers who were assaulted plan to file charges.
In a court filing, the Federal Bureau of Investigation says Farquharson scratched a flight attendant’s lip and pulled a necklace and employee badge off her after “frantically” requesting to get off the plane, 30 minutes into the flight.
According to Goldgraben, “three or four guys instantly” rushed back and subdued the woman until the plane landed in Detroit, where she was taken into custody. “We don’t want her in a position where we can’t see her arms”.
However, the other passengers on the plane were quick to act. It continued on to O’Hare International Airport, arriving about an hour late.
