Rooms with music talent with Fiat
By Steve Mullins. Brand mentor. Fiat is getting into the music discovery business by opening the doors the Evo Music Rooms to promo the launch of the Punto Evo in the UK. “The search for the next big thing starts here,” the brand states on the dedicated website, “and you just might be it.”
The motor marque is giving Brit music talent the chance to make it big by offering some pro mentoring, along with the opportunity to perform live on television.
All musical prospectives need do is post their videos at EvoMusicRooms.
“The 20 best acts will be showcased online and you, the head bopping public, have until March 10th to vote your favourite 10 into the final,” Fiat says. “From your final 10 there’ll be six lucky winners, all selected by the panel and quickly whisked off to London to get one-to-one mentoring, free studio time and the opportunity to perform with some of music’s biggest names live on a new TV show.”
Who are the judges? Well, there music marketer Jason Knight, for one. And DJ Ross Allen. Plus music consultant/radio producer Tosh Darg.
“It’s nice to see a genuine unsigned competition that actually delivers something of real value for the bands that take part, to take forward in their careers,” Darg says.
And what has all his got to do with the brand?
“Because we love music and know a thing or two about evolving things,” Fiat says.
Ah, we get it. Like the new Fiat Punto Evo…
