The app also uses geo-location to pinpoint users’ locations and display local activities, complete with event previews.


Fake White Gold gets real game

The California Milk Processor Board has rolled out a game, Thrashteurizer, that allows consumers to play along with White Gold, the fake rock band that featured in music videos created by Goodby, Silverstein last year. Mobile and desktop versions of the game are available.


Frankmusik interactive lacks exposure

Channel 4, MySpace and BlackBerry have joined forces to launch a fully interactive music tour that features singer Frankmusik, creator of what he terms ‘Bladerunner Pop’.
