Bon Jovi lays down a Circle Tour digital riff
Online Jovi. Rocker vets Bon Jovi webcast last week’s kick-off concert of The Circle Tour at Seattle’s KeyArena to some 85,000 fans last week. The band steamed the first five songs of the concert via Ustream, BonJovi.com and its Facebook page.
BJ has also unveiled a promo for the latest single, Superman Tonight, with fans invited to create their own videos for the track using a suite of tools available at Animoto. Users simply need to upload their photos and videos – or import them through Facebook Connect – to create storylines and montages for Superman Tonight.
Entrants can share their videos over social networks, with the most watched weekly winners receiving a Flip Camcorder. The overall victor will get a signed Bon Jovi guitar.
Bon Jovi is also inviting fans to upload videos performing Livin’ On A Prayer. The best performances from each toured city will be featured on the video system during shows while the band is on stage playing the song. The dedicated website is right here.
