Red Bull’s world
By Mark Terry. The Red Bull Music Academy is currently on World Tour. The multi-city journey kicked off in Cape Town with Maximum Signal Control, before heading to Berlin, then Paris, then Detroit.
Today it’s Toronto’s turn with Culture Clash. The city boasts one of the largest West Indian populations outside the Caribbean and crews playing on massive soundsystems face off in a cross-genre soundclash, hosted by Toronto’s Kardinal Offishall.
“Ten ground-breaking celebrations and explorations in ten different cities around the globe will feature signature concerts, workshops, art installations, studio sessions and parties in extraordinary locations – all leading up to the 14th edition of the Academy in Madrid this October,” says the high energy brand.
